Certifications
Dr. Robertson's education has been notable for honors at every level of schooling. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Art History in only three and one half years, with the distinction of graduating Magna cum laude. Medical school followed with multiple awards for leadership, scholarship, professionalism and service.
In 1990, Dr. Robertson finished medical school number one in his medical school class. His excellence was rewarded by completing his residency and fellowship training at some of the most competitive programs in the country. This included five years of rigorous training in head and neck surgery in Chicago, followed by one year of dedicated cosmetic and reconstructive facial plastic surgery study in Atlanta. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery.
An active member nationally with the American Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery, he has served on boards that oversee fellowship curriculum and research awards. He has also lectured nationally and published articles on rhinoplasty, botox, facelifts, wound healing, ear surgery (otoplasty), upper and lower eyelid surgery, tissue adhesives, skin resurfacing, and facial soft tissue fillers. Not only has he personally performed thousands of procedures in facial plastic surgery, but he has also taught others to practice and master proper techniques.
Dr. Robertson is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. He is a member of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS), and he is the only physician in the State of Wisconsin to qualify for membership in the Prestigious Rhinoplasty Society.
